Weight Training's Benefits May Depend on Genetics

Ever felt like other’s benefit from exercise more than you do?

A recent study published in the International Journal of Obesity showed that women with genetic risk for obesity didn’t benefit from high intensity resistance training and moderate weight bearing exercises as much as those with a lower genetic risk.

However, resistance training continues to boast claims of improving bone density so don’t drop the free weights just yet.
