Vitamin-D deficient?

Have you recently been by your doctor that you are deficient in vitamin D?

While there is dispute about what adequate levels are, the only firm evidence that exists regarding vitamin D is linked to bone health- not obesity, diabetes etc.

Fatty fish, eggs, and fortified milk and orange juice contain vitamin D, but reaching adequate levels can be difficult without supplementation (or exposure to sunlight!)- but how much is appropriate? With so much conflicting evidence, recommendations, and advertising regarding supplements, who really knows what is best?
