Preparation
1. Cook the rice, and keep it warm.
2. Dice the chicken.
3. Cut asparagus into 1-inch long and discard tough ends of spears.
4. In a small bowl, combine hoisin sauce with brown sugar. Stir to combine. Set aside.
Cooking
1. Heat 1 1/2 tsp of oil in a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat. Add asparagus and stir fry for about 1 minute. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a skillet over high heat and stir fry diced chicken until the color changes. Stir in asparagus and hoisin/brown sugar mixture. Stir fry until chicken is tender and pieces are all coated with sauce.
3. Serve cooked chicken with a bowl of wild cooked rice.
