Ingredients
Green Beans (snap beans) | |
Soy Sauce | |
Salmon Fillets | |
Green Onions/Spring Onions or Scallions (including tops and bulb) | |
Ground Ginger | |
Butter (unsalted) |
Preparation
Finely chop spring onion.
Cooking
1. To make the ginger butter, in a bowl combine the butter, spring onion and ginger.
2. Reserve 2 teaspoon of the butter in the fridge.
3. Steam the green beans in a small amount of water (1/2-inch of water) for 3-5 minutes until tender but crisp.
4. Heat the remaining butter in a frying pan until melted.
5. Add the salmon and cook for 4 minutes each side.
6. Add the soya sauce and cook for a final 15 seconds.
7. Serve the salmon with the chilled butter on top and the green beans on the side.
