Ingredients

Whole Wheat Pita Bread
Avocado
Canned Mixed Beans (drained)
Onion
Chopped Tomatoes (canned)
Tomato Puree
Mixed Herbs
Cumin Seed
Black Pepper
Olive Oil
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 8 minutes with occasional stirring. 
  
2. Add the mixed beans, mixed herbs, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, cumin, salt (optional) and pepper into the saucepan. Cook for 15 minutes with occasional stirring. 
  
3. Slice open one side of the pitta bread to make a pocket. Mash the avocado and spread into the pitta pocket. Fill with the mixed beans and serve.
