Ingredients

Whole Grain Bread
Mixed Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries)
Water
Syrups, maple

1. Cut the crusts off of the bread and discard. Place onto a shallow dish. 

2. Put one cup of the berries into a small saucepan with the water and maple syrup. Place the saucepan on the hob over a low heat. Cook the berries until they become soft and very juicy. 

3. Strain the juice from the fruit into a bowl using a fine sieve. Pour the juice over the bread until the bread is completely covered. Place one slice of bread on top of the other. Spoon on the fruit puree from the sieve. Leave to soak for 30 minutes. 

4. Lift the bread off of the dish and place into a bowl. Place the remaining fruit on top before serving.
