1. Steam potatoes by placing steamer in a large saucepan of simmering water. Cook halved potatoes, covered, for 12 minutes.
2. Steam green beans or similar by placing steamer basket in saucepan and add cup water and heat to boiling. Place the green beans in basket. Cover pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
3. Mix together avocado with lime juice and tabasco in a bowl. Squash the mixture with a fork to get a smooth consistency. Season with ground black pepper. Cover and leave to one side.
4. Prepare frying pan with oil and use medium heat. Add chosen fish and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side.
5. Add the waiting avocado mixture on top of the fish.
6. Plate and serve with potatoes and vegetables.
